Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers
Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers – known around the world as the “Dynamic Deacon” – is one of the most sought-after speakers in the Church today. He is a powerful and passionate evangelist and preacher, whose no-nonsense approach to living and proclaiming the Catholic faith is sure to challenge and inspire those who hear him.
He travels across the United States and around the world speaking at conferences, workshops, retreats, parish missions, high schools, and young adult events – in short, to everyone who desires to know Jesus intimately and enjoy a deeper personal relationship with Him. His areas of expertise include marriage and family life, discerning the will of God, the sacraments, male spirituality, pro-life issues, evangelization, prayer, and many others.
Deacon Harold holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Theological Studies Degree from the University of Dallas. He co-hosts the Eternal Word Television’s Network’s popular radio program, “Morning Glory”, and the weekly broadcast “Living Stones” on Mater Dei Radio. Deacon has also appeared as a guest on numerous other national and international radio programs, including “Catholic Answers Live” and “Vocation Boom Radio.”
In addition, he is the host or co-host of several popular series on EWTN television and is featured on the award winning Chosen faith formation program by Ascension Press. Deacon Harold is the author of the best-selling book, Behold the Man: A Catholic Vision of Male Spirituality, co-author of Ignite: Read the Bible Like Never Before, and has written the acclaimed new book, Father Augustus Tolton: The Slave Who Became the First African-American Priest.
Deacon Harold is featured on The Greatest Commandments: A 40-Week Spiritual Journey for Married Couples, a vibrant marriage-enrichment program rooted in biblical values and designed to help husbands and wives know God better, trust Him fully and love Him completely throughout the course of their married lives.
Retaining a deep love of Benedictine spirituality which he gained during his time discerning a call to that religious community, Deacon Harold is a Benedictine Oblate of Mt. Angel Abbey. He is also a member of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars and the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy.
As the president and CEO of The Saint Joseph Center, Deacon Harold oversees that nonprofit organization’s endeavors, which include hosting an international institute for Catholic male spirituality, coordinating dynamic speaking tours and life-changing retreats, and developing products and services that support family life.
Most importantly, he is married to his lovely wife, Colleen, and they have four beautiful children. They live in Portland, Oregon, where Deacon Harold is assigned to Immaculate Heart Catholic Church.

Father Mike Schmitz
Fr. Michael Schmitz (Father Mike), the director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth as well as the Chaplain for the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, inspires and educates through his priesthood and preaching. Father Mike offers weekly homilies on iTunes and bulldogCatholic.org and has appeared in programs for youth and young adults through Ascension Press, as well as through regular short video messages on Ascension Presents.
His Newman Center focuses on being fed through the Sacraments as well as study and knowledge of the Church and has thrived under his humble and Spirit-filled guidance. He has preached to youth and young adults across the country about the love of God and the call of Jesus Christ for saints to be raised up in the Church. Father Mike's hope is that these saints will redeem the entire world for Christ.
Father Mike is the director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth as well as the Chaplain for the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. John LaBriola is the founder of Onward Catholic Soldier, an organization committed to defending, healing and strengthening Catholic families. He is a dynamic speaker who passionately communicates the truth of the faith in a loving and accessible manner. John’s goal is to help Catholics of all ages deepen their love and knowledge of the one, true Church.
He has appeared numerous times on EWTN television, SJEN TV, Focus Worldwide Network, CatholicTV, and Shalom Media television. He has also appeared on EWTN Radio, Relevant Radio, Radio Maria, Immaculate Heart Radio and many local Catholic radio networks and affiliates.
John is the former host of St. Joseph Radio Presents, a weekly, worldwide radio program that can be heard over EWTN Radio that helps Catholics spread the truth of the Catholic faith. He has also been a frequent guest host for Catholic Answers Live radio program.
He is a frequent speaker at parish missions, Marian conferences, Homeschool Conferences, Days of Recollection, Men’s and Women’s conferences and retreats, Legatus meetings and Catholics@work meetings, often speaking on ethics and spirituality in the workplace.
John’s latest book is entitled Onward Catholic Soldier: Spiritual Warfare According to Scripture, the Church and the Saints. Relying heavily on Sacred Scripture and the advice of the Saints, the book presents the concepts of Spiritual Warfare in a simple, straight forward and safe manner.
He is also the author of the apologetics book, Catholic Truth for Catholic Teens: A Guide to Embracing and Defending Your Faith to help Catholics, especially younger ones, to understand not only what they believe, but also why they believe it. And he is author of Christ-Centered Selling: A Scripturally Based Guide to Principled, Profitable Persuasion. Its focus is to help lead businesspeople to a deeper relationship with God, through the practice of Christian principles at work.
He is currently working on two new books, No Soul Left Behind: Evangelizing Those Who Have Left the Church and Onward Catholic Soldier II: Healing According to Scripture the Church and the Saints.
