Most Reverend David L. Toups is Bishop of the Dioceses of Beaumont, TX since his installment in 2020. Bishop Toups was ordained to the priesthood in 1997 for the Diocese of Saint Petersburg and served both in local parishes and at the seminary, helping to form many of our diocese’s priests.

The overarching theme of the 13^th Annual Conference is Spiritual Warfare represented by the quote from 2^nd Corinthians 10:3.

The Ignatius Press Study Bible interprets St. Paul’s message in this way:

Featured Speaker - Fr. Dwight Longenecker

1ª Conferencia Anual Hispana para Hombres

La 1ª Conferencia Anual Hispana para Hombres “Vivir Nuestra Fe” será presentada por la Diócesis de St. Petersburg y Suncoast Catholic Ministries, el sábado 7 de abril de 2018 en el Salón Social de Nativity Catholic Church. La inscripción comienza a las 7:00 a.m. El programa comienza a las 8:30 a.m. y termina a las 3:00 p.m.

El programa incluye música en español, tiempo para la reconciliación, hermandad, devoción y adoración. Todo el evento será en español. Todos están invitados sin importar su tradición de fe, religión o estado civil. Exhortamos a los padres a que vengan con sus hijos adolescentes.

Esta conferencia tendrá como conferenciantes a el padre Mario Castañeda, el Sr. William Zuluaga y el diacono Élix Castro. Comenzaremos con la Santa Misa oficiada por nuestro obispo, el Reverendísimo Gregory Parkes.

Bishop Gregory Parkes - Mass Celebrant and Homilist

On November 28, 2016, Bishop Gregory Parkes was appointed the fifth Bishop of St. Petersburg by His Holiness, Pope Francis. Bishop Parkes was installed as the fifth Bishop of St. Petersburg on January 4, 2017. He succeeded Most Reverend Robert N. Lynch, who served the Diocese since 1996.

Join Bishop Parkes for morning Mass at our 9th Annual Tampa Bay Men's Conference, also featuring Jesse Romero, Gus Lloyd and Justin Fatica on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Higgins Hall in Tampa.
